Accessibility statement

We aim to be accessible

This website is run by the Swedish Institute (SI). We want as many people as possible to be able to use our websites, and this page describes how sites on the sweden.se domain complies with the accessibility regulations and how you can report problems so that we can fix them.

How accessible is explore.sweden.se?

We are aware that some parts of this website aren’t fully accessible. You can find a section on non-accessible content on sweden.se for more detailed information.

Technical information about the accessibility of this website
This website is mainly compliant with the Swedish accessibility regulations (link in Swedish) and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA.

Disproportionate burden

SI invokes an exemption for disproportionate burden in accordance with § 12 in the accessibility regulations for the content described below.

We use a Spotify-widget to embed music and we are aware that it is partially non-compliant with the Swedish accessibility regulations and WCAG 2.1 level AA. Our assessment is that it would be unreasonably burdensome to find an equivalent, and fully accessible, replacement for this widget.

What to do if you can’t access parts of this website?

We’re always looking to improve the accessibility of this website. If you need content from this website that is not accessible to you or if we’re not meeting the requirements of the accessibility regulations, please contact us by e-mail at si(@)si.se to report issues and let us know about the problem.
