AI Technology Gets ‘Real’ in New Exhibition at House of Sweden

Artificial Intelligence IRL goes beyond the hype of the technology breakthrough that many see as either the next big thing or just the latest buzzword. It presents real-life applications of AI that can make a difference — all of which have ties to Sweden.

In recent years, there’s been a push throughout Sweden to harness the immense potential of artificial intelligence. These efforts embody the Swedish tenet of collaboration to support innovation: academia, industry, and government working together across sectors and disciplines. Most also share a vision and mission to help create a better future using AI — from paradigm-shifting tools in medical research and sustainable farming to ways of addressing unintentional bias in AI systems.

Visitors to the exhibition will explore how various Swedish companies and organizations are developing and implementing artificial intelligence in a way that can lead to a more open society, healthier world, or greener planet. They’ll even be able to interact with and see some AI innovations for themselves.

Artificial Intelligence IRL is produced by the Swedish Institute and in collaboration with Wallenberg AI, Autonomous Systems and Software Program (WASP), Wallenberg AI, Autonomous Systems and Software Program – Humanity and Society (WASP-HS), Research Institutes of Sweden (RISE), and the Embassy of Sweden in the United States.
