Business Sweden
Business Sweden supports Swedish companies abroad, and supports international companies in Sweden. With advisors in more than 40 offices worldwide, they offer free support throughout the decision-making process, tailored to your needs. Working closely with local government agencies and stakeholders, they can provide you with market analysis and with guidance on site selection, rules and regulations, and facilitate contacts.

The Swedish Export Credit Agency
EKN, The Swedish Export Credit Agency, is a government agency that promotes Swedish exports by insuring the risk of non-payment in export transactions. It also insures export companies’ and their buyers’ bank loans. EKN's guarantees make difficult markets accessible and enable more secure export transactions.
Embassy of Sweden locally
Sweden has diplomatic relations with almost all States in the world, with embassies and consulates in around half of these.
Fossilfritt Sverige
“Fossil Free Sweden” is an initiative by the Swedish Government to increase the pace of climate transition and make Sweden the first fossil-free welfare nation in the world. The goal is to build a strong industrial sector and to create more jobs and export opportunities by going fossil free.

Klimatpolitiska rådet
By 2045 Sweden shall have no net greenhouse gas emissions. The Climate Policy Council is an independent, interdisciplinary expert body tasked with evaluating how well the Government’s overall policy is aligned with this climate goal.

National Board of Trade
Sweden’s government agency for international trade, the EU internal market, and trade policy. They facilitate free and open trade with transparent rules, as well as free movement in the EU internal market. They provide the Swedish Government with independent analysis, reports and policy recommendations in international trade policy-related matters.

NIR

The International Council of Swedish Industry, NIR, aims to improve business conditions by combining the responsible business conduct efforts of companies with a broader development agenda.
ALMI
Owned by the Swedish state, Almi offers loans to companies with growth potential and supports their business development. Their services are available both to start-ups and to established companies. The subsidiary Almi Invest provides venture capital for promising early-stage companies with a scalable business concept.
SEK
The Swedish Export Credit Corporation (SEK) is owned by the Swedish Government. Their mission is to ensure access to financial solutions for the Swedish export industry on commercial and sustainable terms.
Swedfund
Swedfund is the Development Finance Institution of the Swedish state. Their mission is to combat poverty by investing in and developing sustainable business in the most challenging markets around the world.
Vinnova
Vinnova is Sweden's government agency for innovation. Their vision is to be an innovative force in a sustainable world. Vinnova helps to build Sweden’s innovation capacity, contributing to sustainable growth. Their operations are based on the global sustainability development goals of the 2030 Agenda adopted by the United Nations.
Energimyndigheten
The Swedish Energy Agency (Energimyndigheten) is leading the energy transition into a modern and sustainable, fossil-free welfare society. They support business development that allows commercialisation of energy related innovations and ensure that promising cleantech solutions can be exported. Furthermore, they participate in international collaboration with the aim of attaining Swedish energy and climate objectives and develop and disseminate knowledge for a more efficient energy use to households, industry, and the public sector.
